KWK9 Rescue

We are located in Caithness and provide rehoming services for needy dogs in Caithness, North Sutherland and sometimes Orkney and elsewhere. We will rehome a dog to anywhere provided we can arrange homechecks and the potential new owner can make the necessary accompanied travel arrangements. We do not have kennels but care for our dogs in foster homes located with families in our area. Potential new owners are welcome to visit a dog in it’s foster home by prior arrangement. We do require an application form to be completed before any visit is made but completing a form does not commit you to a dog so do head over and complete a form, we would love to hear from you.

We are always looking for new foster homes. We give every support and the only cost to fosterers is your time, love and patience. You will be rewarded with the best kind of warm cosy feeling when you see a scared and unhappy dog turn into a trusting, loving and happy soul ready to face the world and a wonderful life with new owners. Contact us if you think you might be able to help. Unfortunately, because we don’t usually know the history of our new dogs it is unlikely that we would be able to place a foster dog in a family with very small children but don’t let that put you off, there are lots of other ways you can help so please get in touch.

Our Annual dog show is taking place on Saturday 2nd June 2018 at Wick Assembly Rooms pop along for a fun filled day for all the family.
